A nuero med-surg patient nominated Patricia and shared the following story:
Ms. Patty was extremely respectful and patient-centered as she provided care for me. For example, she heard about my son on the first date I was admitted and come to stay a month later, remembered him, and asked how he was and how he was managing with my situation. Ms. Patty demonstrates trust and honesty by helping me understand the different antibiotics I am taking and why. Ms. Patty was attentive, helpful when I needed anything, and completely responsive. She never uttered the words "not my job," but assisted me with every area of care completely attentive. Ms. Patty was a joy to have on a care team and I can recommend Mount Sinai to friends and family because of her. She's a valuable asset to the team.
