I was an outpatient at the Cancer Center receiving my IVIG for my immune system. Two days earlier my brother-in-law committed suicide and I was also dealing with this. A nearby female patient became unresponsive suddenly. Though not realizing it, my breathing had changed and tears began to flow. Patty, RN appeared out of nowhere and wrapped me in a supportive hug. Her intuitive action was exactly what (and when) I needed. Patty's caring, thoughtful and warm manner really touched my heart. I appreciate what she did to calm and center me and I won't forget it!
