Patricia Hill was nominated by her practice manager for going above and beyond to support a patient facing medical and financial hardship. When the patient couldn’t afford life-sustaining nutrition, Tricia personally coordinated free monthly shipments through Abbott Laboratories.
“This patient, under one of our providers' care, was too ill to keep food down and relied solely on nutritional supplements for sustenance. Tricia took it upon herself to contact a representative at Abbott Laboratories. Thanks to her persistence and dedication, Abbott Laboratories agreed to ship the necessary supplements to the patient free of charge every month. When the patient and their spouse came to our office to personally thank Tricia, they were in tears—overwhelmed with gratitude for the kindness and effort she had shown.”
