She provides kind, efficient, and compassionate care to every veteran and never complains about her workload.
Patricia consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to the veterans she serves, her coworkers, and the needs of the hospital. She shows dedication by cross-training in multiple units and learning different levels of care so she can provide a wide range of support to the veterans in our facility.

Patricia exemplifies integrity by prioritizing the needs of the team over personal convenience. She frequently volunteers to float to other units, even when it is not her turn, in order to support staffing needs. By doing so, she continues to grow her clinical skills while also becoming a valuable resource to the units she assists.

Her willingness to float also helps reduce stress and anxiety for nurses who may feel less comfortable working in unfamiliar areas. Patricia approaches these situations with confidence, flexibility, and a consistently positive attitude. She provides kind, efficient, and compassionate care to every veteran and never complains about her workload.

Regardless of changes in assignments, acuity, or unit needs, Patricia remains adaptable and supportive of the team. She truly embodies the spirit of the ICARE values. Nominated by Christina Longoria, RN, House Supervisor
