Nurse Pat has a wonderful gift of making patients and families feel heard, acknowledged, and comfortable. Our family was suddenly thrust into a very dark disease with a short amount of hope. This has caused plenty of hurt not only physically, but mentally as well. Pat came in and gave a sense of ease to the patient and our family that has been missing for quite some time. She provided comfort and words of encouragement. She also provided music and a simple bed extender to make tall patients comfortable. She checked on us (family) regularly and that too made such a difference. Thank you is not enough; just know how awesome of a nurse you are.
