Patricia Pineda, RN

Patricia made a meaningful difference in my care, not because of one story or one situation. Rather, she was outstanding in everything she did. She was the complete picture of what a nurse should be. I ought to know this because I am the daughter of a nurse and I saw firsthand all my mother did for her patients. She made me physically comfortable by fluffing the pillows, changing the sheets, and holding my hand when I had a hard time coming out of anesthesia.

She always was cheerful. Patricia came into my room often and her lovely smile never left her face. She laughed when I made jokes and she left the room with as big of a smile as she entered with. She never got annoyed with me and even went on her own to get me coffee when I wanted it. She made me feel so much better than I might have. Compared to other nurses I have had, she was an angel.
