PJ always takes the time to help me as well as the nurses on our unit when needed (starting IVs, clinical issues, computer entries, etc.) I do mean always because as long as she has been working here, she has never turned my request for assistance down. She is always smiling and has a unique way of relating events to others. I have seen her tear up over the death of patients and express compassion for the patient's family with a gentle touch, with a coffee or Kleenex. She has also taken upon herself to type out lots of instructions on how to perform tasks and rules/guidelines for some procedures and share them with me.
