Nurse Patty has been my nurse for three shifts. Patty truly exhibits a calling to nursing and has answered this call in wonderful ways to be a compassionate, caring, loving, and gifted nurse. Patty continually walks the extra mile that is needed to provide exceptional quality care to her patients. In every encounter that I had with Patty, she went 100% above what is required to meet my needs as a patient. Patty is a brilliant nurse who has a strong intellect to resolve any medically challenging needs that her patient may have.  It was evident in every encounter that I had with Patty that she was called to be the wonderful caregiver, compassionate patient advocate, and outstanding clinician. She, along with her CNA, asked me numerous times what I needed to meet my needs as a patient. Patty followed the doctor's orders above and beyond what was required to make sure that my boot was not causing skin or pain issues. Exceptional, compassionate care and patient advocate are words that best describe the outstanding patient care that Patty has given to me. Patty brings extreme joy, passion, and care to her chosen calling to being the perfect nurse for this unit. She is truly a shining example.
