Trisha was amazing! I had a c-section at Broward Health Coral Springs. She was my nurse the entire procedure, explaining everything that was going to happen. I told her this was my first child and first surgery, so I was a little nervous about everything. She reassured me everything would be ok, encouraging me, supporting me, and making sure I understood everything that was happening. She comforted me while I had my spinal, as I am not a fan of needles. She was absolutely amazing. She stayed with me until I was brought upstairs to the Mother Baby unit for the remainder of my recovery. Since I had the section, it was required that I stayed for three days, and Trisha happened to be on our floor the second day, so I had the privilege of having her as one of my nurses. She took care of me, my son, and my family members who were visiting. She even went out of her way to make sure we were ok after a rough lactation time. She reassured us that we are doing the right thing when it comes to breast feeding, and that it will take some time. She just encouraged us to keep at it and to take everything with a grain of salt. She had the chance to get to meet and know my son as well. She was Wonderful! Although, most of the nurses we had during our stay were great, Trisha stood out because of the extra steps she took to make sure we were all on the same page with everything.
