Sharon was called into work on our unit when one of the other LPN went home ill at 7 am, She answered the call with no hesitation. Sharon arrived at work less than an hour later, proceeded to fulfill all the duties assigned to her with a smile and a "what can I do for you?" attitude. We found out later she was not on call that day but came in anyway knowing we were short-staffed. Sharon performs all her duties very well and doesn't leave a patient needing anything. We survived that day with her extra set of hands and her "can do" response to any request.
