Patricia has been an exceptional support and advocate during this difficult time for me. Even though I was not ready to see or hear about my ostomy and wound needs after emergency surgery, Patricia gently and persistently helped me accept and work toward getting the care I need.
When I was discharged from the hospital Patricia told me to call her work phone anytime if I had questions or needed supplies. I was not scheduled to have a community RN for over 2 weeks. Patricia worked with all my surgery team and her resources to find the nursing support within 2 days of returning home. I am truly grateful that there are professionals like Patricia Stewart who value and care about their patients throughout their recovery.
