Patrick Amasinde was a welcoming face when I arrived at my room. He spent time hooking me up to the monitors and assured me he would be there to help when needed. His kindness and gentle presence helped me remain calm. Spending some time asking me about myself and encouraging me to relax was a comfort. He never made me feel he was in a hurry to be somewhere else.
The morning of my discharge Patrick even included me in the morning coffee run. We had joked about the quality of the dining hall coffee. He insisted on paying for it too. Unnecessary generosity; most appreciated.
You are lucky to have Patrick on staff. I would like for him to get an official "pat on the back".
