My 12-year-old son was on a field trip where he blacked out and began to have breathing issues. After trying to stop the asthma attack, I realized he needed medical attention. When we got to the ER, I was panicked and worried for him. Our triage nurse, Patrick, was absolutely amazing. He was able to not only comfort me but also my son. He took all the measures to make sure he got all the medical attention he needed and more. He talked us through the test being done and made sure my son knew what was happening at all times. When my son mentioned he was hungry, Patrick took it upon himself to give my son chips, which we were so grateful for.
