Patrick Bryan, RN

It is an honor and privilege to nominate Patrick Bryan for the DAISY Award. He is the gold standard in nursing care and an asset to Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Patrick kindly, competently, and professionally cared for my sister after her difficult surgery. She was not feeling her best self, and to his credit, he managed to please her. He was extraordinary, flawless, and anticipated and fulfilled her every need. Patrick responded to each medical request with expertise and grace. He has excellent critical thinking skills and a pleasant disposition. He treated my sister with dignity, respect, and understanding. Patrick listened, eased her pain, and spoke candidly. My sister trusted and genuinely liked him. He made one of the worst times bearable by his compassion. Patrick took initiative and proactively accommodated my sister's rapidly changing dietary requirements. He actually obtained and delivered food to her himself to spare her the wait! Patrick Bryan is truly a gifted nurse. He has earned and would be extremely worthy of the DAISY Award.
