Pat listens and connects empathetically to show that our patients are never alone on their journey.
I have a perfect and well-deserving candidate for the DAISY Award: Patrick Ciccone, RN. Pat has exemplified the core value of “Team” amongst not only our region but also a nearby region since March 2020. He has traveled ALL over the state of New Jersey to help with coverage, and still continues to do so! I know if you asked our dialysis centers in Delran, Willingboro, Merchantville, Innova, Mt Laurel Gaither drive…anyone who knows Patrick, would agree wholeheartedly that Pat is just simply THE BEST! He has never called out, ever! He has been an instrumental part of TEAM here in Browns Mills since starting a little over two years ago. In these two short years with the Village, he has touched the lives of our patients/families in ways that I have not seen before.
Pat is truly the example of “go the extra mile.” Not only does he give 100% professionally every day, but he also connects with our patients and their loved ones on such a personal level it’s truly incredible. Pat listens and connects empathetically to show that our patients are never alone on their journey. He is so humble, that he’d never mention a word of what he does for our very sick patients. He is now my lead charge RN, and learning more of the “back-up” CC role including rounds with MD, teammate schedule, and other champion roles. We are so honored to have Patrick demonstrate extraordinary patient care here at Browns Mills.
