Patrick Duncan, RN, MSN

Throughout the semester, I have had the pleasure of having Patrick as a clinical instructor. Every day, he shows up with a smile on his face and an eagerness to not only spread his knowledge of nursing to his students but also to learn alongside them. He truly cares for each and every student he teaches. An example of this was demonstrated when he noticed I was not myself and was kind enough to take time out of his day to provide a listening ear as well as advice for my situation. He is not an instructor who simply teaches within the clinical setting; he is an instructor who takes every opportunity to care for others! Patrick has exemplified the nurse I one day wish to be! He is passionate about the profession and takes pride in teaching the next generation of nurses. I will forever be thankful for Patrick and the knowledge he has passed down to me! He has truly impacted my education by being an amazing mentor and teaching me how to be the best nurse and person I can be!
