I want to recognize Nurse Patrick. My Dad was admitted to your hospital and stayed for eight days. Two days before discharge, my Dad's youngest brother unexpectedly passed away from a tick bite. This devastated my Dad. Before I told Dad, I talked to Patrick about it. He was with us when I told Dad. My Uncle's name was B. Patrick said to Dad, "You know that B would want you to go on and get better." I couldn't have done it without Patrick. He watched Dad closely. It did have an effect on Dad. Patrick was empathetic, and he truly cared about my Dad and his well-being. I will never forget Patrick and how he went above and beyond for my Dad. Please let Patrick know that I will never forget him. My Dad passed away less than one week after discharge. Patrick helped to make the end of his life better.
