Patrick Quigley, RN
I am writing to formally recognize and express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care I received from Patrick during my recent stay in the orthopedic unit. Following a motorcycle accident that left me with three broken limbs, including one that required surgery, I arrived in a condition where I needed significant assistance, attention, and reassurance. From the very beginning, Patrick stood out among the care team in a way that made a lasting impact on my experience.
Patrick demonstrated an outstanding level of attentiveness, compassion, and professionalism. He was proactive in advocating for my comfort, going above and beyond by contacting the physician multiple times to help establish a pain management plan that was both effective and appropriate for my situation. His responsiveness and persistence made a meaningful difference during a very difficult time.
In addition to managing my pain, Patrick was instrumental in helping address my nausea and anxiety, both of which were significant challenges during my recovery. He approached each concern with patience, knowledge, and a calm, reassuring demeanor. Every time I used the call light, he responded promptly and thoughtfully, always taking care to ensure I felt heard and supported.
What impressed me most was not only his clinical knowledge but also his ability to deliver care with genuine kindness and positivity. Despite the complexity of my condition, he remained composed, thorough, and encouraging throughout.
As an employee of AdventHealth, I take great pride in the level of care our organization strives to provide. Experiencing that standard firsthand through Patrick's care was both reassuring and inspiring. He exemplifies the values and excellence that AdventHealth represents.
