I was having trouble breathing. I felt like I would die all alone, but Patrick not only helped me physically, he asked if I wanted to hold his hand. He helped me physically, mentally, and spiritually. As I cried and was scared, he provided unbelievable calmness and helped me to know that I wasn't alone. He gave me compassion in a time of isolation and distancing.
Patrick is a hometown hero and went over and beyond to comfort me in my biggest time of need. His hand provided me assurance to relax and I would be fine. I appreciate his courage to be with a positive COVID patient. Risking his safety to allow me to know that someone truly cared and was there for me!
