Patrina Freeman was nominated by a family member for taking care of her mother when she was dying from terminal cancer. Patrina was there for the patient and family on her multiple admissions and 26 visits to the Emergency Department. Patrina came in on her day off to visit and sit with the patient and her family. "She went above and beyond the call of duty!" The family considers Patrina a member of their family now. They were able to come in for the DAISY Award Celebration along with many members of Patrina's family.
