I had a patient who was essentially stuck in the department without clothes, a cell phone, or money after being in a car accident. To further complicate the situation, the patient was from out of town. When finding the patient's wallet became the best solution to getting the patient a ride and shelter, and when the police could not help, Patti went above and beyond to help. Patti drove to the scene of the accident herself to recover the patient's belongings. I can't imagine the relief and comfort this provided the patient during such a scary event.
