Patti went out of her way to help a patient feel special on his birthday - she made a sign to hang on his bed and streamers; also went to cafeteria to purchase a doughnut with colorful sprinkles. The patient's face lit up when she gave him those things. He was actually asleep when she decorated his bed, so he woke up to the surprise. Little things go a long way to bring joy to patients and Patti often goes that extra mile to make people feel welcome here at St. Francis! She is always kind and sincere while providing compassionate and joyful service.
