I have been suffering from Major Depressive Disorder for many years. After trying just about every anti-depressive medication with no success, I was referred to a doctor to discuss ECT treatment. She decided that ECT could help me. So I contacted her nurse, Patty Fitzpatrick to schedule my treatments. Patty immediately made me feel very comfortable and answered any questions that I had. She is knowledgeable, professional, caring, and kind. I feel so fortunate to have ECT treatment available. My husband and I have been traveling to Sentara Norfolk from Virginia's Eastern Shore for almost 3 years to be treated. I must express my gratitude to have a wonderful Registered Nurse like Patty Fitzpatrick to care for me.
Having this treatment available to help me has been a blessing! I wish that Patty Fitzpatrick had more hours in her week so that the doctor and her team could help more people like me. She really goes above and beyond with her wonderful patient care.
