Patty Kieffer is a nurse in the Harborview outpatient float pool. She has the breadth of knowledge and experience to take care of patients in both primary care and specialty clinics. It is a happy day when Patty floats to your clinic. She is also the nurse coordinator for patients of Dr. C in the neurology clinic. This unique group of patients appreciates being checked into clinic by Patty, who knows small details about their lives and makes them feel cared for and special. She also addresses their needs when they drop in to clinic and via the phone between visits.

Patty has several decades of service at Harborview caring for our mission population and all of whom seek care here. She knows people throughout the outpatient departments and how departments work and she uses this knowledge to facilitate the best care for her patients. She is willing to share this information and is most certainly a patient advocate!

Patty exemplifies the levels of knowledge, caring and commitment all nurses hope to obtain when they choose to be a nurse. During the growing season, she regularly brings in fresh cut flowers from her garden, another lovely way she brightens the workplace and is a pleasure to work with.
