The past two weeks, I have been through the very difficult experience of losing an early pregnancy. Although I am not a young mom anymore, this experience has been just as hard physically, spiritually, and emotionally. I would like to nominate Nurse Patty for a DAISY Award for her professional yet personable and caring manner. She was warm and available throughout the entire experience, answering my many questions and phone calls so patiently. She was a true liaison for me between the doctor and the hospital. There is nothing that could make a miscarriage a positive experience, but I know that a gruff and uncaring nurse could have made it much worse. God bless you and thank you!
