I would like to deeply thank Patty. The morning of my grandfather’s surgery, I was told out of the blue and had just finished 3 shifts in a row. Patty advocated for me and let me come up to preop. I was so worried because my grandparents are primarily Spanish-speaking, and I knew discharge would be rough if they were alone. Patty made it so that security was well informed of my arrival. It made things so easy, and I knew exactly where to go when I came up to the front desk. I was really stressed on the long drive. But when I got here, she updated me on everything and made me feel calm. She didn’t have to do any of the above. She could have easily told me I couldn’t come up to preop. But I appreciate that she went out of her way to do this. It really eased my mind and my grandma’s nerves! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Because of Patty stress was decreased. Discharge was made to be more beneficial, and my family feels more comfortable with post-op care. Amazing Nurse!
