To his utter surprise, one of his patients proudly disclosed in her DAISY Award nomination form how Paul touched her mom's life and their lives as family as well.
"Paul had been my mother's nurse during her first confinement here at St. Luke's Global. He has properly taken good care of my mom medically and emotionally. He took care of my mom in his best professional way by attending to my mom's needs, giving her medicines on time, checking her blood sugar and blood pressure. Beyond this he has taken good care of my mom emotionally by telling her funny jokes, sharing wonderful life experiences, giving some life trivia and most of all, he has always wished, hoped and prayed that my mom will get well as he has never stopped encouraging her to believe in the hope that everything will be okay and that she will get well. When he is not assigned to be my mom's nurse, he always frees his time or use his free time to visit my mom. Paul deserves to be rewarded and recognized."
