Paul embodies the exempla value of "welcoming spirit" and the service behavior "act respectfully" in his daily interactions with patients and co-workers, but was specifically compassionate today with one of his patients who had been in a serious motorcycle accident. The patient's clothes had been cut off at the accident site and he had no clothes to go home in. Paul went home between shifts and gathered some clothes for the patient and donated them to him so he would have something to wear home.

Paul demonstrated compassionate caring and went above and beyond his work responsibilities. It is a pleasure to work with Paul and he deserves recognition for this selfless act.
