Paul Sagge was extremely attentive and supportive, explaining they are now running this test, for this reason, it will take this long to get results and get doctors response, multiple times to set our time expectations. I was in emergency for 9 hours as they worked to find my problem. Paul was a wealth of knowledge and comfort, many times asking if he could provide a blanket or water and more to keep me comfortable. He went out and got my wife so she could know everything was ok.
I was admitted with a lymphocele (pool of infected fluid as a result of my earlier prostate cancer surgery) with a high fever and low blood pressure. Paul may have broken protocol but when he could find a person to take me up to the hospital room he did, allowing my treatment to start quicker. I am certain this helped my health return sooner. At the same time, Paul took extra efforts to get the lady with dementia in the next room a cane because she thought she had brought, even though she did not. He told her, "Do not worry, you will go home with a cane," then quietly, "It just may not be yours." Paul is excellent at keeping you in the know.
