My mother is a patient of OC Global on the 5th floor geriatric psych ward. I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge an outstanding nurse that has been caring for my mother. Paul has truly been amazing always going above and beyond to make sure my mom is comfortable. My mom has severe Alzheimer's with psych issues and it has been a very challenging time for the psych unit to get her medications aligned. Throughout this time, Paul has been so patient and kind to my mother. I have also seen his interactions with staff and other patients and it is evident why he is admired by so many-he truly emanates the spirit of nursing which is compassion, service, and hard work. I must say this has been one of the hardest times of my life, watching my mother's slow decline has been truly heartbreaking. The one thing that has really lifted my spirits is getting to know the amazing healthcare workers like Paul who absolutely were born with the gift of giving excellent care. I am grateful to him.
