Paul took a few dirty clothes items home and washed them for us.
My young adult daughter is on her second transplant. We were told to expect 21 days. We packed for 30 days but as we got closer to day 21 we could see that the stay would be extended. Paul took a few dirty clothes items home and washed them for us. We live 3 hours away and were at the point of doing trash bag laundry in our room. Paul didn't have to take the items but he did and having clean clothes when you are in the hospital means so much to the patient and the caregiver. Paul has gone for walks with my daughter and has always shown compassion towards my daughter and me. This small act means so much to a family that is so far away from home living on limited sleep and new to the area.
