There had been a motor vehicle accident involving multiple cars and Aero Med was dispatched to the Lakeshore campus, a rural critical access facility. At that time, Paula was at a personal appointment across the street when she noticed the paking lot being blocked off and a helicopter landing at the hospital. She left her appointment immediately and rushed over to the hospital to help. In speaking with the ER physician, she said that because of Paula's experience and ER expertise, Paula was able to lend valuable assistance during the trauma care provided. This demonstrates going above and beyond what is expected and Paula did this all without hesitation.
