My husband was admitted to Floor 5 at Forbes. During his time there, Paula made our priorities her priorities. When we were informed about his bleeding she pushed to get a doctor to address it . At the end of her shift, my husband started to go into shock. She immediately responded, keeping him and me calm. Breathing with him and staying with him until doctors got his shaking and heart rate under control. She stayed well past her shift and did everything to keep us both informed and calm. Unfortunately with my husband's paralysis, we are in and out of the hospital a lot. I wish all of our nurses were like Paula.
