Paula H Morrison, Registered Midwife
We had an extremely positive pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience at the Royal Hobart Hospital. There is one midwife we would like to nominate for a DAISY Award, for the outstanding compassionate care she provided to myself and our baby. This midwife is Paula Morrison.
Our pregnancy came with its complexities, and Paula quickly familiarised herself with our situation. This gave us confidence, knowing we were being cared for by such a competent and capable midwife, who understood our unique situation. Paula provided an exceptional level of encouragement, guidance, and support, during our final stages of birth. Most importantly, Paula’s approach gave me the confidence to trust myself and my body and feel empowered while birthing our beautiful daughter. Paula’s care stood out to us because of her; likeable nature; high level of competency; confident delivery; genuine care and empathy; and clear communication. We are so incredibly grateful to have been cared for by Paula.
