Over the past several months, C has undergone numerous medical, psychological, and emotional evaluations as we have worked to better understand and address her health challenges. As a diabetes educator, she brings tremendous clinical skill to her work, but what makes her especially remarkable is her ability to connect with patients on a personal level. She treats C with kindness, dignity, and genuine respect, while never losing sight of the clinical goals.

Paula is also an outstanding team member. She collaborates with the many professionals involved in C’s care and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure everyone works together to support her progress. She makes herself available when needed, communicates openly and honestly, and remains committed to helping C succeed.

What has impressed me most is Paula’s ability to encourage and inspire. She never gives up on C and always finds ways to reinforce her strengths and accomplishments. Her optimism is genuine, her guidance is thoughtful, and her support has made a meaningful difference during a very challenging time for our family.
