I was having a very tough day. I was worried since my doctor is leaving Mayo. I expressed my concerns on the portal, and Nurse Paula reached back out to me with such encouraging and thoughtful words. She made me feel like an actual human being and not a number in a chart.

She addressed my concerns in such a way that I no longer feel anxious. I can't stress enough how important it is to just listen and be there for someone. And that's exactly what she did; she listened; she heard what I was saying, and she responded with such kindness and reassurance.
