Paula is always professional and supportive of safe, high-quality care. Paula is the only Epic Program Manager at BWFH and works in conjunction with Epic programmers, BWFH nurses, support staff, providers and every discipline that interacts with Epic. Because we share an office space, I often hear Paula say, "We have already developed that here at BWFH, I will send you the work we've done." She works tirelessly to ensure patients are safe by identifying issues through personal interactions and through the Informatics Committee, and she is open to all suggestions for improvements to help make the right thing to do the easiest thing to do. During the Magnet site visit, Paula ensured plan of care and patient education was up to date, accurate and reflected the amazing care that staff provide to our patients. Paula has worked with Epic to create reports that help all disciplines caring for patients view changes in medications and results quickly and easily. Paula's dedication to excellence in patient care shows through in all her actions.
