Paula was such an excellent and compassionate nurse. We are so grateful to have her on our team. This was our 1st in-patient stay at City of Hope following a second relapse. Paula made sure the patient's physical and emotional well being were supported. The patient was anxious about all of the new things, but Paula took the time to explain every medicine, assessment, etc. It really helped her to feel more comfortable both physically and mentally.
Not only did Paula have excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor, but she was a critical thinker and a very strong nurse. We felt 100% confident in her care. She was always on top of the med schedule and always advocated for her to keep her feeling as well as possible. We hope Paula will be her nurse again next time!
