After my recent surgery at St. Mary's I feel compelled to write. All of the nurses that cared for me were good, but one nurse was absolutely incredible. Paulina stood head and shoulder above them all.

She was my nurse for 2 days of my 3 day stay. Those shifts were very busy, but from the way Paulina treated me, I had no idea. Which, in my mind, says quite a lot about how hard working and efficient she is.

Paulina was very professional and caring. In my mind those two qualities can be opposites, but not so with Paulina. The way Paulina treated me, made me feel that she truly cared about my comfort and well-being. She is very knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions and she was able to answer them all. I knew I was being well cared for. Paulina was a comforting presence for me, as I am very uncomfortable being a patient.

From her words, actions and demeanor I could tell Paulina loves her job, truly cares for her patients and takes great pride in efficiently going above and beyond in all aspects of her job. I got the distinct sense that she has personal expectations for herself that the quality of her work that are greater than what an employer could honestly expect out of an employee. She is a fantastic nurse and valuable asset to St. Mary's.
