Pauline Ferry, RM

I was first introduced to Pauline after being diagnosed with gestational diabetes in my last pregnancy. The minute that I received my diagnosis until I safely delivered my baby boy, Pauline was there by my side, providing me with endless information, guidance, support, and words of encouragement. What made Pauline extra special to me was the level of attention and dedication that she provided to not only me but every last one of the patients on her caseload. This was evident during the diabetic clinics, as Pauline interacted with her patients, always greeting them with a smile while making each and every one of us feel special.

In addition to this, Pauline always took the time to answer her phone or return my calls in a timely and efficient manner, sometimes even whilst she was at home. During every phone call and face-to-face interaction, Pauline always showed me kindness, compassion, and empathy, making every concern important to her. Pauline delivers such a high standard of care that it would be impossible to detail every way in which she made my pregnancy journey with gestational diabetes one of ease and positivity. To me, this really reflects how much this lady both loves her job and genuinely cares about the happiness of her patients.

Pauline truly deserves this recognition for the astonishing work she does every day without hesitation. My pregnancy was one of happy memories despite the health barriers that I was presented with, and I can only thank Pauline for empowering me in making this journey a positive one. She really is an amazing woman, and I would like to thank her from the bottom of my heart.
