I'd like to express my gratitude and admiration to all the healthcare professionals at the Balboa Hospital during my hospitalization. I was admitted to the hospital due to a Necrotizing Flesh-Eating Bacteria Skin Infection, a condition I have never had before. It was a very traumatic experience, and I have never been hospitalized before.

Having heard from other patients in the past, where their comments were not very favorable at times, but in my experience, considering the situation, I couldn't ask for a better team of health care professionals. We consider ourselves very lucky to have them to take care of us. It was the care and dedication of Lt. Gachalian that made the difference for us. She made us, my wife and I, feel that we were important; she made us feel like family, not just another patient, and that she was there to help us unconditionally. She made sure I had the required medications on time and made excellent recommendations for a very quick recovery.

Without Lt. Gachalian's expert advice and superb skills, our experience could have been more difficult than it was. One might think that it is expected of healthcare professionals to act this way as part of their profession; however, Lt. Gachalian's dedication and devotion to patient care are truly remarkable and worthy of praise. My most sincere gratitude goes to her service and humane approach to patient care. A job well done!
