Recently, I had a crisis and you came to my aid. Pauline had a soothing voice and shared some of her personal life of her mother. We had a lot in common and I felt I was not alone in life's changes. Her natural warmth and understanding put me at ease every time I saw her. She explained my meds each time they were given so I got to learn what each was used for. She held my hand or gave me a hug when I needed it the most. In a world of 'don't touch' rules, there were times I was not touched for a week or more at a time. I felt safe around her - another factor I had a hard time dealing with. She took the time in her busy, busy schedule to see that all my needs were met. Never rushed.
I see why you have employees here for many years. I hope Pauline is one of them.
