I have been admitted to the hospital for the first time in my life. I was freaking out going through the ER by myself, expecting the worst. As the process progressed, the fear of the unknown was creeping up on me, and the nerves of worry began. I was met by several doctors and nurses, but the best care, in my opinion, was from Nurse Payal Patel. She was, by far, the most helpful and genuine person who made me feel so safe and comfortable. As I was going through my recovery day to day, she made it easy and comfortable. I had several questions and concerns, and she would stop and take the time to answer them to the best of her knowledge. As she would assist me, she was ready to go assist the others as they asked specifically for her service and advice. I witnessed her in action and gave her the nickname "The General," consistently on the move and taking care of the patients, and assisting her team.
