Payton was the labor and delivery nurse for the birth of my second child, and the care she provided made a truly meaningful difference in my experience.

From the moment we arrived, she made me feel supported, informed, and genuinely cared for during one of the most important moments of my life.

Throughout my labor, Payton took the time to walk me through every option available to me and ensured I understood what was happening at each stage. Her communication helped me feel confident and comfortable during a time that was very overwhelming.

She was always checking in to make sure both my baby and I were as comfortable as possible, and it was clear that our wellbeing was her top priority.

At one point she mentioned that she had only been working at the hospital for about a year, which honestly surprised me. The confidence, calmness, and skill she showed throughout my labor made it feel like she had been doing this for many years.

When labor became especially difficult, her encouragement made all the difference. She cheered me on with the warmth and energy of someone who felt like family, and her kindness and positivity gave me strength when I needed it most.

My husband and I had decided not to find out the gender of our baby ahead of time, and when our baby was born and we discovered we had a girl, she was right there celebrating with us.

We had also been waiting until birth to choose a name, and her name had already been on our list. After everything we experienced with Payton by our side, it simply felt right.

We ended up naming our daughter after her. We can't thank Payton enough for the most seamless labor experience possible!
