Pearl Burgess, RN

I recently was a patient in endoscopy at Franciscan Health Munster. I had the pleasure of having Pearl care for me. She did my admission, great job on the IV. Pearl was very professional, made me feel comfortable and well cared for by maintaining my privacy. Prior to my procedure she made sure all my information was up to date and complete. Pearl also cared for me after my procedure. She gave me a warm blanket when I came back to post op because I was cold. She offered me juice and water and Lorna Dune cookies. After being NPO all day (procedure at 3pm) it was wonderful to have something good to drink. Pearl reviewed my discharge instructions and new medication. It was a great experience to see how well our patients are cared for. I feel Pearl displays compassion, kindness, joyful services. She truly made me feel well cared for and appreciated as a patient.
