Pearl is the epitome of an excellent nurse. She is always smiling, positive, and willing to go the "extra mile." This is what her manager had to say: "I called yesterday and she graciously came in to work in the middle of a storm to help out when we were short a nurse due to many admits. I received a note from administration today because a patient had called to commend Pearl on the excellent care he received at Highland. We discharged two patients today who had only met Pearl yesterday and they and their families told me all the way to their vehicles how great she was--always smiling and such an excellent nurse. She serves as a preceptor for new nurses on PCU. We are so blessed to have Pearl Proctor here.
