Pedro Leon RN is a night shift nurse in the Emergency Department. The following is an excerpt from a letter that was written by a grateful father who wanted to recognize Leon for his incredible care.
Around 2AM, my 16 month old daughter was brought into the ED by my distraught wife. I cannot thank you enough for the comfort and true care that you showed my loved ones. You went above and beyond and my wife cannot stop talking about it; especially for walking my wife through the ice to her car while others watched our little girl so she could bring the car over to pick her up without the risk of falling on ice...That is above and beyond your duty and you deserve recognition.
