Peggy was floated to 2B on Christmas Eve. I had a patient on 2C to receive chemo and her IV infiltrated. I asked Peggy if she could start a new PIV on my patient. She started the PIV and later brought a wrapped Christmas gift to my patient. Needless to say after enduring a new IV and chemotherapy, receiving the gift washed all of my patient's anxiety away. Peggy told me every Christmas she brings six gifts for the patients she will have that day. The gift was beautiful.
