Peggy Dye went above and beyond her duties as a nurse by being loving and compassionate in many ways. Peggy checked on my ill father continuously, tried to tell him jokes to make him smile, went to another unit of the hospital to get the "Bear Paws" machine and gown because my dad was so cold. Being the sad and concerned daughter that I was, as I cried Peggy consoled with a warm embrace. She even went as far as calling the hospital the next night on her day off to check on him - WOW! Please award Peggy Dye with this honor she is very deserving of it!
