Today I went in for a biopsy. I was extremely nervous and afraid. From the minute Peggy walked in the room she put me at ease. She was comforting and calm. She did a great job explaining what I was to expect through the entire procedure. I was going to be awake for the procedure, so I had major anxiety. I couldn't believe how amazing Peggy was with me. I have spent a lot of time at Swedish over the past month. She offered a hand to hold during my procedure at any time. Being in there alone without family was scary but having Peggy there made me feel like I wasn't alone. I literally held her hand the entire time. I was so impressed and felt she is the kind of person a hospital needs to make patients feel at ease. Thank you, Peggy!
